Crown Prince, Representative of His Highness the Amir, meets Icelandic Prime Minister in New York

New York, 22 Sep (KUNA) -- His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, met today with Her Excellency Kristrún Frostadóttir, Prime Minister of the friendly Republic of Iceland, and her accompanying delegation at the United Nations headquarters in New York on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The meeting reviewed the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Republic of Iceland and ways to develop them to serve the interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples, in addition to discussing a number of topics and issues of mutual interest.

Attending the meeting were His Excellency Sheikh Jeraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mishal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; His Excellency Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi; and His Excellency Ambassador Tariq Muhammad Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations.
