Tunis, Sept 22 (KUNA) – The Director General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jointly Produced Programmes Production Organization, Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, said on Tuesday that the rapid transformations in the media landscape require Arab institutions to develop their tools and content, study the trends and media consumption patterns of new generations, and ensure that authentic Arab culture and identity reach them through modern and engaging methods.

Sheikh Mubarak, speaking at the 26th edition of the Arab Radio and Television Festival in Tunisia, emphasized that the organization is keen to participate in Arab media gatherings and strengthen its presence there, as these events provide a platform for exchanging expertise and insights, discussing the future of content production, and exploring ways to enhance Arab media cooperation.

He noted that the world today is moving at a rapid pace, characterized by an open environment with numerous platforms and constantly evolving audience behaviors. This makes reaching Arab content with its target audience a responsibility that demands a deeper understanding of new generations and continuous development of content production tools and presentation methods.

He stressed that keeping pace with development does not mean abandoning authenticity, but rather leveraging modern technologies and new narrative techniques to deliver engaging and compelling Arab content that carries our culture, values, and identity, while simultaneously being competitive, accessible, and influential.

He pointed out that the Arab Radio and Television Festival, organized by the Arab Radio and Television Union under the theme “The Pulse of the Image and the Echo of the Future,” constitutes an important platform that brings together Arab media and content creators, enabling discussions on the transformations shaping the industry and forecasting its future. He underscored the importance of integrating Arab efforts to produce content capable of addressing the future while preserving its authenticity and identity.

On the sidelines of the festival, Sheikh Mubarak held discussions with participating officials and media professionals on areas of mutual cooperation. (End) S.B.M / A.M.S
