Representative of His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince, receives a delegation from the American Chamber of Commerce and the US-Kuwait Business Council on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the UN General Assembly

New York, 21 Sep (KUNA) -- His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, received a delegation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the U.S.-Kuwait Business Council on Monday. The delegation included Mr. Kush Choksi, Senior Vice President for the Middle East, Turkey, and Central Asia, and Senior Vice President for International Member Engagement at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Steve Lott, Vice President for the Middle East at the Chamber; Ms. Lydia Jabs, Executive Director of the U.S.-Kuwait Business Council at the Chamber; Ms. Donna Milford, Executive Vice President at State Street, serving as Chair of the U.S.-Kuwait Business Council; and Ms. Jenny Johnson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Franklin Templeton Investments. The meeting was held at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince emphasized the important role of members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the U.S.-Kuwait Business Council in supporting and strengthening economic, trade, and investment ties between the State of Kuwait and the friendly United States of America.

The meeting also discussed ways to consolidate economic, trade, and investment relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly United States of America, and reviewed investment opportunities in Kuwait for leading U.S. companies and institutions across various vital sectors.
