Representative of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait receives the President and Chief Investment Officer of Alphabet and Google on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly

New York, 21 Sep (KUNA) -- His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, received today Ms. Ruth Porat, President and Chief Investment Officer of Alphabet and Google, at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, the latest developments in the framework agreement between the Government of the State of Kuwait and Google Cloud were reviewed. Progress on strategic projects related to digital transformation, cloud computing infrastructure, data centers, and the development of digital skills for Kuwaiti national cadres was also discussed. Additionally, the prospects for joint cooperation between the State of Kuwait and the global company Alphabet were explored, with the aim of supporting the State of Kuwait's vision.
