Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al Sabah, representing His Highness the Amir of Kuwait and His Highness the Crown Prince, meets the King of Jordan and the Crown Prince on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly
Kuwait City, September 21 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, met today with His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince of Jordan, in his residence in New York. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly, with the Crown Prince acting as the representative of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait.
At the outset of the meeting, the Crown Prince conveyed greetings from His Highness the Emir to His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, along with best wishes for their good health and well-being, and for continued progress and prosperity for the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its brotherly people.
The meeting also discussed the deep-rooted historical fraternal relations between the State of Kuwait and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as well as ways to enhance and develop these ties in the interests of both countries and their brotherly peoples. Additionally, the latest developments on the regional and international scenes were reviewed.

Sheikh Dr. Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; H.E. Ambassador Mansour Ayad Al-Otaibi; H.E. Ambassador Tariq Al-Banna, Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations; H.E. Major General Ahmed Al-Duai, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office; and H.E.
