Kuwait City, September 21 (KUNA) — Brigadier General Abdulwahab Al-Wahayeb, Deputy Minister of Interior, chaired the Kuwait delegation participating in the meeting of the Military and Security Coordination Committee, a body stemming from the Kuwaiti-Saudi Coordination Council, held via video conferencing.
The Ministry of Interior said in a press statement on Monday that the meeting was attended by representatives of relevant entities from both the Kuwaiti and Saudi sides, along with several security leaders and representatives from the Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs, the National Cybersecurity Center, and the Public Authority for Combating Corruption (Nizaha).
It added that the participants discussed several agenda items and joint initiatives, as well as ways to enhance cooperation and coordination in military and security fields, alongside developing mechanisms for exchanging information and expertise to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of joint efforts.
The statement noted that the meeting takes place within the framework of the solid fraternal relations binding Kuwait and the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the mutual commitment to continue strengthening security and military integration and unifying joint efforts to support the security and stability of both brotherly countries and the region.
