His Highness the Amir of Kuwait receives an invitation from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to participate in the Gulf-Europe Summit in October

Kuwait City, September 21 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received today a letter from his brother, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the sisterly state. The letter contained an invitation from His Highness to attend the second summit between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union, which will be held in the capital city of Riyadh on Saturday, October 24, 2026.

The letter was delivered to His Highness by H.E. Prince Sultan bin Saad Al Saud, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the State of Kuwait.

Present at the meeting were H.E. Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Minister of Diwan Amiri Affairs; Brigadier General (Retired) Jamal Al-Diyab, Director of the Office of His Highness the Amir; Sheikh Abdulaziz Meshal Mubarak Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Secretary of the Diwan Amiri; and Mazen Isa Al-Otaibi, Deputy Secretary for External Affairs at the Diwan Amiri.
