Saudi Arabia condemns the storming of the Noble Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards by an occupation official and extremist settlers

Riyadh, Sept 20 (KUNA) -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed its strongest condemnation on Sunday of the "desecration of the Noble Al-Aqsa Mosque by an official of the Israeli occupation authorities and a group of extremist settlers under the protection of occupation forces," describing the act as a blatant violation and provocation against Muslims worldwide.

In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the Kingdom’s categorical rejection of the provocative practices, incitement, and illegal extremist violence committed by Israeli occupation officials against Palestinians and the holy sites in occupied Palestine.

The statement emphasized the need for the international community to assume its responsibility in putting a stop to all such violations of international law and international humanitarian law.
