Civil Aviation Authority Head Discusses Enhancing Cooperation in Civil Aviation with Kazakhstan's Ambassador

Kuwait, Sept 20 (KUNA) -- The head of the Civil Aviation Authority, Sheikh Engineer Hamoud Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, met on Sunday with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Kuwait, Yerzhan Ilyikeev, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the field of civil aviation.

The Authority stated in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the meeting reviewed opportunities to develop bilateral relations in areas of air transport, operational services, and the exchange of technical expertise, while discussing prospects for future cooperation to support travel flows and air connectivity, and to strengthen coordination on issues of mutual interest.

It added that the meeting addressed key topics scheduled for discussion at the extraordinary session of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Assembly, which will be held at the organization’s headquarters in Canada next November. (End)
