Foreign Minister meets UN High Commissioner for Human Rights on the sidelines of the High-Level Week in New York

New York, 20 Sep (KUNA) -- Foreign Minister Sheikh Jeraf Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met on Sunday with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that the meeting discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation between the State of Kuwait and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, as well as ways to develop this cooperation to achieve shared objectives. (End)
