Farwaniya Governor: Environmental Awareness and Voluntary Work Are the Two Pillars for Elevating the Civilized Appearance

Kuwait - 19 - 9 (KUNA) -- Al-Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Azubi Nasser Al-Azubi Al-Sabah affirmed on Saturday that enhancing environmental awareness and volunteer work are fundamental pillars for elevating the province's civilizational appearance, contributing to maintaining a clean and sustainable environment.

He made these remarks in a press statement while sponsoring and attending a field campaign to clean Al-Raqai and Al-Andalus Public Park in the Al-Andalus district, coinciding with World Cleanup Day, with the participation of several entities and volunteer teams.

He noted that the event embodies the importance of community partnership and promoting a culture of environmental and public cleanliness, praising the efforts of volunteer teams and security agencies in supporting community initiatives and instilling positive behaviors among community members.

Sheikh Azubi Nasser Al-Sabah commended the efforts of those organizing and participating in the event, emphasizing that cooperation and coordination among various entities reflect a spirit of social responsibility and solidarity in serving the province.

Several security officials and participants from volunteer teams attended the event.
