Lebanon: Attack on Riyadh is a violation of international law and a threat to regional security and stability

Beirut - 19 - 9 (KUNA) -- Lebanon strongly condemned on Saturday the aerial attack targeting Riyadh, the capital of the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stated in a statement that "any threat to the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia constitutes a serious violation of international law and a threat to regional security and stability."

The ministry expressed Lebanon's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, affirming its stance alongside the Kingdom in confronting any aggression targeting its security and territorial integrity.

It reiterated Lebanon's categorical rejection of any targeting of cities and civilian facilities, or endangering the lives of civilians.
