General Authority for Youth and Sports recruits 15 world-class coaches to work with the U-12 category at football clubs

Kuwait, Sept. 19 (KUNA) — The General Authority for Youth and Sports announced on Saturday the recruitment of 15 international coaches, distributed among the 15 football clubs, to work with the under-12 age group, in cooperation with the Kuwait Football Association.

Bishar Abdullah, Director General of the General Authority for Youth and Sports, said in a press statement that the selection of the 15 coaches was based on specific qualifications and criteria, following the review and evaluation of approximately 150 résumés over three months, in coordination with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), and drawing on various global projects and experiences in this field.

Abdullah added that this initiative stems from the Authority’s role in caring for the youth, developing their athletic capabilities, and creating suitable conditions to help build a generation of athletes capable of progressing and achieving success in the future.

He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all who contributed to the implementation of this project, emphasizing that the efforts made aim to lay a solid foundation for developing sports talent in Kuwait. He expressed hope that this initiative would yield positive results and bear fruit in the near future, thereby serving Kuwaiti football and contributing to the discovery and nurturing of promising talents.
