Palestinian Civil Defense: Citizen killed in airstrike targeting vehicle in northern Gaza

Gaza - 19 - 9 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian Civil Defense announced on Saturday that it had recovered the body of one martyr following the shelling of a vehicle in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood north of Gaza City.

In a media statement, the Civil Defense said it recovered the charred body of a citizen who was riding in a civilian pickup truck that was shelled by the Israeli occupation forces in the Sheikh Radwan market area in northern Gaza City.

Eyewitnesses told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that an Israeli drone suddenly targeted the vehicle as it was passing through a main street in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, causing it to catch fire and killing a Palestinian while injuring several civilians in the vicinity.

They added that the airstrike caused panic among civilians and damaged nearby vehicles and property.
