Oman and Germany Foreign Ministers Discuss Ways to Resume Navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea Region

Muscat, Sept 19 (KUNA) -- Sultanate of Oman's Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi and German Foreign Minister Johann Wadefuhl discussed on Saturday ways to restore freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea region, along with several regional issues of mutual interest.

The Omani Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the talks took place during a phone call received by Al-Busaidi from his German counterpart, during which they exchanged views on the importance of supporting efforts to de-escalate tensions and enhance prospects for consolidating regional security and stability.
