Representative of His Highness the Amir, the Crown Prince, Heads to the US to Lead Kuwait's Delegation at the UN General Assembly

Kuwait City, 19 September (KUNA) -- By the grace and protection of God, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State, sent his representative, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, along with an official delegation accompanying him, to depart today morning for the friendly United States of America. The delegation will lead Kuwait’s participation in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, to be held in New York City.

His Highness was seen off at the airport by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister; His Excellency Sheikh Mubarak Hamoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Commander of the National Guard; His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Yousef Al-Saud Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; His Excellency Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Minister of Diwan Amiri Affairs; His Excellency Shari’ah Abdullah Al-Muwasharji, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Head of the Crown Prince’s Diwan; His Excellency Engineer Sheikh Hamoud Mubarak Al-Hamoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Chairman of the Public Authority for Civil Aviation; and other senior officials.

Accompanying His Highness is an official delegation comprising His Excellency Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; and other senior officials.
