US President bans three American media organizations from entering the White House

Washington – 18 – 9 (KUNA) – US President Donald Trump announced on Friday a ban on CNN, MS Now, and the digital publication Politico from entering the White House, citing what he described as their “continued dissemination of fake news,” and hinted at taking similar measures against other media outlets.

In a post on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump stated, “It is my honor to announce, with immediate effect, the ban of CNN, MS Now, and Politico from the White House due to their continued dissemination of fake news.”

According to the post, he affirmed that “the media should not be allowed to continuously write or broadcast fabricated stories and lies when covering news about the President of the United States, the Trump administration, or the United States.”

The US President hinted that this ban “will be followed by other decisions against other media outlets that promote fake news.”
