Number of martyrs rises to three in separate Israeli strikes on Gaza Strip
Gaza - 18 - 9 (KUNA) -- Health authorities announced on Friday that three Palestinians were killed and others sustained varying degrees of injuries following successive airstrikes by Israeli occupation forces and gunfire in various areas of the Gaza Strip since early morning.
In a statement, the health authorities said that one of the deceased arrived at Al-Shifa Medical Complex after a group of civilians was targeted on Al-Rashid Street in western Gaza City, while others were injured in the shelling, including one described as critically wounded.
They added that another Palestinian was killed in an airstrike by Israeli occupation forces that targeted a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians, while two children were injured, one of them critically.
A fourth Palestinian died from injuries sustained yesterday after being hit by gunfire from Israeli occupation military vehicles in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
Israeli occupation forces continue to target various areas of the Gaza Strip with shelling and gunfire, amid a deteriorating health situation and dire humanitarian conditions in the Strip.
