Egypt condemns terrorist attack targeting a mosque in northwestern Pakistan

Cairo, Sept 18 (KUNA) -- Egypt condemned the terrorist attack targeting a mosque in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of several people.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday, Egypt reaffirmed its steadfast position against targeting places of worship, emphasizing its complete rejection of all forms of terrorism, extremism, and violence.

In this context, Egypt expressed its full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in confronting these terrorist acts and its support for the efforts undertaken by the Pakistani government to safeguard its security and stability.
