Arab Council of Interior Ministers condemns Houthi drone attack on Taif
Tunis, Sept 18 (KUNA) -- The Arab Council of Interior Ministers strongly condemned on Friday the attack by the Houthi militia targeting the city of Taif in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Council’s General Secretariat stated in a statement that it received with strong disapproval news of the terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi militia using a drone that targeted the city of Taif in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in the death of one person, injuries to others, and material damage.
The statement affirmed the Council’s strict condemnation and absolute denunciation of this terrorist attack, as well as the militia’s continued aggressive approach in targeting civilians and civilian sites, and its ongoing efforts to undermine security and stability in the region.
It also affirmed the Council’s full solidarity and complete support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in confronting these attacks and in the measures it takes to safeguard its security and stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory. (End)
