Kuwait Olympic team loses 0-2 to Uzbekistan in the Asian Games football tournament

Kuwait - 18 - 9 (KUNA) - The Kuwait Olympic team lost 2-0 to Uzbekistan on Friday in the football competition at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games in Japan.

Uzbekistan’s goals in the match, held at Aichi Minato Stadium, were scored by Sardorbek Bakhtiyorov in the sixth and 36th minutes of the first half.

With this result, Uzbekistan tops Group Three with six points, followed by Vietnam with four points, then Kuwait with one point, while the Philippines remain at the bottom of the group without any points.

The Kuwait Olympic team will face the Philippines next Tuesday, while Uzbekistan will meet Vietnam.
