Interior Ministry arrests Asian suspect in drug trafficking case with 800 narcotic tablets in his possession

Kuwait - 18 - 9 (KUNA) — The Ministry of Interior announced that the Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Directorate for Anti-Narcotics and the International Counter-Narcotics Department, apprehended an Asian national in a case involving the trafficking of narcotics and psychotropic substances.

The Ministry stated in a press release on Friday that the operation resulted in the seizure of 800 papers soaked with the chemical substance "Khimikal" in the possession of the suspect, along with two liquid ampoules of "Khimikal" and two precision scales, intended for trafficking and consumption.

It added that the suspect and the seized items were referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal action against him. (End) E.H.K / E.E.H
