Kuwait national team trains in Jeddah ahead of Gulf Cup 27

Jeddah, 17 Sep (KUNA) -- The Kuwait national football team held training sessions on Thursday at the auxiliary pitch of King Abdullah International Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in preparation for the 27th Gulf Cup (Khaleeji 27), scheduled to take place in Jeddah from September 23 to October 6.

Kuwait will conclude its preparations for the tournament with a friendly match against Yemen on Friday.

The Kuwaiti team arrived in Jeddah on Tuesday after completing a preparatory camp in Qatar, which included a friendly match against Lusail as part of its final preparations for the competition.

The draw placed Kuwait in Group A alongside Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Iraq, while Group B comprises Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Yemen.
