Tunisia strongly condemns Houthi drone attack on Saudi territory

Tunis, Sept 17 (KUNA) -- Tunisia strongly condemned on Thursday the attack carried out by the Houthi militia on Saudi Arabian territory via a drone, which resulted in the death of one person and the injury of two others after it was intercepted.
The Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that the attack constitutes a threat to the Kingdom and its stability, and a blatant violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
It added that Tunisia expresses its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and reaffirms its support for all measures that safeguard its security and stability, and preserve the freedom and safety of maritime navigation.
According to the statement, Tunisia called for prioritizing dialogue and peaceful solutions, and avoiding anything that could exacerbate the situation, intensify tensions, and undermine the pillars of peace and security in the region. (End)
