The Muslim World League condemns the Houthi aggression against Saudi Arabia's Taif Governorate

Jeddah, September 17 (KUNA) -- The Muslim World League strongly condemned on Thursday the continued criminal aggression by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including a drone attack on Taif Governorate that resulted in the death of a Yemeni national, injured a Saudi citizen and a Pakistani national in critical condition, and caused material damage to several buildings and vehicles due to shrapnel from the intercepted and destroyed drone.

In a statement, the League’s Secretary-General and Chairman of the Assembly of Muslim Jurists of Arabia, Dr. Mohammed al-Issa, reiterated his condemnation of these treacherous terrorist attacks, which violate all religious values, international laws, and humanitarian norms, and underscore the criminal approach of this terrorist militia in deliberately targeting civilians and civilian property.

He reaffirmed, on behalf of the League’s assemblies, bodies, and global councils, and on behalf of all Islamic peoples under its umbrella, the full solidarity with the Kingdom in all measures it takes to deter the aggressors and safeguard the security and safety of its citizens and residents. He prayed to God Almighty to protect the Kingdom, its land, leadership, and people from all harm and evil. (End) F.N./M.M.J
