Kuwait condemns and denounces the Houthi militia's drone attack on the Taif Governorate in Saudi Arabia

Kuwait - 17 - 9 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait's strong condemnation and denunciation of the Houthi militia's targeting of the Taif Governorate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a drone. The interception of the drone resulted in the scattering of debris, causing the death of one person, injuries to two others, and material damage. The Ministry affirmed that these attacks constitute a blatant violation of the Kingdom's sovereignty and a breach of international law and international humanitarian law.

In a statement issued today, Thursday, the Ministry reaffirmed the State of Kuwait's full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its standing alongside the Kingdom, and its support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability, and to protect its citizens and residents.

The Ministry extended its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished the injured a speedy recovery. (End)
