Saudi Arabia: One fatality and two injuries from debris falling after intercepting a drone in Taif

Jeddah, Sept 17 (KUNA) -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced on Thursday that one person was killed and two others were injured, with material damage reported, following the fall of drone debris after the drone was intercepted and destroyed in the Taif Governorate.

Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted the official spokesperson for the Saudi Civil Defense as saying that the Civil Defense in Taif Governorate responded to the fall of drone debris after the drone was intercepted and destroyed, noting that the drone was launched by the Houthi terrorist militia.

The spokesperson added that the incident resulted in the death of a Yemeni national resident, the injury of a Saudi female citizen, and the critical injury of a Pakistani national resident, along with material damage to several buildings and vehicles. He noted that the approved procedures for such cases were implemented.
