Kuwaiti Ambassador in Vienna Discusses Bilateral Cooperation and Regional Developments with Austrian Foreign Ministry Secretary-General

Kuwait - 16 - 9 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Republic of Austria, Fawaz Boursali, met with Austrian Foreign Ministry Secretary-General, Nicholas Marschik, on Wednesday to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and address a number of issues of mutual interest.

The Kuwaiti Embassy in Vienna stated in a press statement received by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the meeting covered areas of shared cooperation and means to develop them in service of the interests of both countries, as well as the latest developments in the Middle East region.

The Embassy noted that both sides discussed the situation regarding the Strait of Hormuz, in addition to ongoing preparations for the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, scheduled to be held in New York.

It also pointed out that the meeting underscored the importance of continuing coordination and consultation between the two sides on various regional and international issues of mutual interest. (End) N.M.A. / M.A.A.
