Oman and Botswana Discuss Enhancing Cooperation in Energy, Mining, and Food Security

Muscat, Sept. 16 (KUNA) -- Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman and President Duma Boko of Botswana discussed on Wednesday ways to enhance existing cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the fields of renewable energy, mining, investment, logistics, food security, and agriculture.

The Oman News Agency reported that the discussions took place during an extended session held by both sides during Sultan Haitham’s state visit to Gaborone, the capital of Botswana, in the presence of senior officials from both countries.

The agency stated that both sides affirmed the cordial relations between the two nations and the importance of strengthening and developing them to serve their shared interests and achieve greater mutual benefits. (End) M.J.B./A.S.
