Kuwait national team arrives in Jeddah ahead of Gulf Cup 27

Jeddah, 16 Sep (KUNA) -- The Kuwait national senior football team delegation arrived in the Saudi city of Jeddah on Wednesday in preparation for the 27th Gulf Cup football tournament, which kicks off on September 23.

Kuwait is scheduled to face Yemen in a friendly match on Friday.

The Kuwaiti team had previously held a training camp in Doha, the capital of Qatar, as part of its preparations for the tournament.

Jeddah will host the tournament from September 23 to October 6.
