Gaza, September 15 (KUNA) -- Israeli occupation forces continued their intense airstrikes on scattered areas in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, resulting in the martyrdom of eight Palestinians and injuring dozens with varying degrees of severity, including children. This follows reports from the emergency department of Nasser Medical Complex, which confirmed the deaths of two Palestinians, including a girl under the age of eight, in an airstrike on Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, and the injury of 14 others. Health authorities stated in a previous press statement that an Israeli airstrike targeted a group of Palestinians near the seafront in the port area west of Gaza City, killing one Palestinian and injuring others. They added that severe injuries were brought to Al-Shifa Medical Complex after Israeli occupation aircraft targeted a group of Palestinians in the Passports Area west of Gaza City, while other casualties were transferred to hospitals in the city. In the town of Al-Zawayda in central Gaza, Israeli occupation drones targeted a Palestinian pedestrian, leaving him with serious injuries that required hospitalization for treatment. Health authorities had recorded the martyrdom of five Palestinians since Tuesday morning in several strikes on civilian areas in Gaza, in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Radwan and Sheikh Ajlin, as well as the targeting of a civilian vehicle in the northern part of the Strip.
