Oman and Tunisia Affirm Importance of Coordinating Positions on Issues of Mutual Interest

Muscat, Sept 15 (KUNA) -- Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi and his Tunisian counterpart Mohamed Ben Youssef Al-Nefati emphasized the importance of continuing consultations and coordinating positions between the two countries on issues of mutual interest.

The Omani Foreign Ministry said in a statement that this was expressed during a phone call between the two ministers, in which they exchanged views on regional developments in light of Tunisia’s assumption of the current presidency of the Arab League Council.

The ministry stated in its statement that the two ministers discussed ways to strengthen the fraternal relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Tunisia and to develop areas of cooperation that serve the mutual interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples. (End) M.J.B. / R.J.
