(Fire Department): 23 establishments and shops closed in Al-Ahmadí Governorate for failing to meet safety requirements

Kuwait - 15 - 9 (KUNA) -- The General Fire Force announced on Tuesday that it had issued administrative closure warnings and notices against 201 establishments and shops, and closed 23 establishments and shops, due to their failure to meet the approved safety and fire prevention requirements.

In a press statement, the Fire Force said this action was taken during an inspection campaign conducted in Al-Ahmadí Governorate, covering the Al-Fahaheel Industrial Area and the East Al-Ahmadí Industrial Area, as part of ongoing efforts to monitor compliance of buildings and establishments with safety and fire prevention standards.

The Force affirmed that its inspection campaigns will continue across various governorates to enhance compliance with safety requirements and mitigate risks, thereby safeguarding lives and property.
