Justice: Value of real estate contract transactions reaches KD 106.4 million in one week

Kuwait - 15 - 9 (KUNA) – Statistics issued by the Real Estate Registration and Notarization Department of the Ministry of Justice on Tuesday showed that the total value of registered real estate contracts during the period from 6 to 10 September this month reached approximately 106.4 million Kuwaiti dinars (approximately 347.5 million US dollars).

The statistics indicated that the number of contracts registered during the week was 102, distributed across 76 private properties worth approximately 27.8 million dinars (approximately 90.8 million dollars) and 20 investment properties worth approximately 36 million dinars (approximately 117.5 million dollars).

It added that transactions included five commercial properties worth approximately 25.4 million dinars (approximately 82.9 million dollars), in addition to one industrial property worth approximately 17.3 million dinars (approximately 56.4 million dollars).

The statistics showed that the contracts were distributed across the country's six governorates, with 29 contracts in Al Ahmadi, 20 in Al Farwaniya, 19 in Hawally, 15 in Al Jahra, 10 in the Capital Governorate, and 9 in Al Asimah (Mubarak Al Kabeer). (End) A.A.B. / N.W.F.
