Kuwait City, September 15 (KUNA) -- The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic, Petr Macek, reiterated his country’s supportive and solidarity stance with the State of Kuwait in response to Iran’s culpable and unjustified aggression against Kuwait and the countries of the region. This came in a press statement issued today, Tuesday, by the Kuwaiti Embassy in the Czech Republic, following a meeting between Kuwaiti Ambassador Talal Al-Shatti and Macek, during which they discussed avenues to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two friendly nations. The statement noted that Ambassador Al-Shatti outlined ways to strengthen the distinguished bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the Czech Republic, advancing them to broader horizons across all fields and levels, particularly in the economic, trade, and investment sectors. He added that the meeting also addressed a number of topics and issues of mutual interest, including current developments in the regional and international arenas. (End) A.M.H.
