Cairo, September 15 (KUNA) – Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy strongly condemned the ongoing attacks targeting the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, describing them as an unacceptable violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity, as well as a threat to the lives of civilians and to the security and stability of the region. In a statement issued today, Tuesday, the Secretary-General affirmed his full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and his support for the measures it is taking to protect its security, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens, emphasizing that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of Arab national security. He reiterated the firm rejection of these attacks, calling for their immediate cessation, respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Arab states, and adherence to the rules of international law and the United Nations Charter. He also called for an end to actions that widen the scope of confrontation and lead the region into further escalation and instability. (End) M.M. / A.M.H.
