Scientific Center Launches New Season of STEAM Bus in Partnership with Tam Bank

Kuwait City, 15 September (KUNA) — The Scientific Center, a center under the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences, announced today the launch of the new season of the STEAM Bus for the 2026/2027 academic year, in collaboration with Tam Bank, as part of its ongoing efforts to support scientific education and deliver interactive educational experiences to school students in Kuwait.

In a statement to KUNA, Scientific Center Director General Engineer Muassad Al-Yassin said that launching the new season of the STEAM Bus represents an extension of the Center’s mission to disseminate knowledge and promote scientific culture among school students by providing interactive educational experiences that make science more accessible and enjoyable. He added that the Center is proud of its collaboration with Tam Bank to support the program, which helps expand its impact, reach a wider segment of students, and encourage them to learn, explore, and innovate.

He noted that the new season of the STEAM Bus began at the Early English Education Group, after which the bus continued its educational journey to other schools, offering a range of activities and hands-on experiments that integrate the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. He emphasized that the program aims to simplify scientific concepts and transform them into fun, interactive experiences that encourage students to explore and experiment, while fostering critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills, thereby enriching their educational experience and enhancing their passion for science and innovation.

For his part, Ahmed Al-Othman, CEO of Tam Bank, praised the bank’s collaboration with the Scientific Center to support the program, which enables students to engage in interactive educational experiences that develop their skills, broaden their horizons, and motivate them to discover their passion for various scientific fields.
