European Union welcomes Morocco's commitment to receive all migrants who arrived in Ceuta

Brussels, September 14 (KUNA) -- The European Union welcomed on Monday Morocco’s commitment to receive all migrants who arrived in the city of Ceuta, commending the joint efforts undertaken by Morocco and Spain to manage the migrant situation in the city. EU Commissioner for the Mediterranean, Dubravka Šuica, stated in a post on the social media platform X that she held a telephone conversation over the weekend with Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, during which she expressed her appreciation for the joint efforts between Morocco and Spain in this regard. She added that these efforts are “ongoing,” welcoming Morocco’s commitment to receive all migrants who have arrived in Ceuta.
