(Ministry of Health) Opens Registration for Joining the Medical Services Team of the Kuwaiti Hajj Mission
Kuwait City, 14 September (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Health announced on Monday the opening of registration for qualified medical and technical personnel to join the medical services team of the Kuwaiti Hajj delegation for the 1448 AH Hajj season, and to participate in providing comprehensive healthcare services to the guests of Allah.
In a press statement, the Ministry emphasized that participation in the team represents a professional and national responsibility, as well as an opportunity to contribute to serving the pilgrims of Kuwait and providing healthcare services that reflect the competence of national personnel and the distinguished image of the State of Kuwait.
It noted that the registration conditions require applicants to be Kuwaiti nationals and to possess good physical and health fitness. Priority will be given to personnel who have not previously participated in Kuwaiti medical Hajj delegations.
The Ministry stated that a necessary condition for doctors is that the applicant holds a job title of at least “Senior Registrar” in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or General Practice, and is actively engaged in clinical practice. Furthermore, they must not have been part of the administrative or supervisory structure for at least two consecutive years as of the application date.
Regarding nursing, candidates must hold an academic qualification of at least a diploma in Nursing, with a minimum of five years of practical experience in intensive care units, cardiac care, emergency departments, internal medicine, or surgery.
For prehospital emergency care technicians, the required practical experience must be at least five years, and they must hold the classification of “Advanced Emergency Medical Technician.” Pharmacists must have a minimum of two years of experience.
The Ministry invited interested candidates to complete their registration applications via the link (https://hajjreg.moh.gov.kw/hajjReg/login) after reviewing the general and specialized conditions and adhering to the announced instructions.
