Qatari Prime Minister holds talks with foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Austria on latest regional developments

Doha, September 13 (KUNA) -- The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, held talks today, Sunday, with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi, and Austrian Foreign Minister Karoline Edtstadler, to discuss the latest regional developments.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in separate statements that these discussions took place during phone calls, during which the cooperation relations between the countries were reviewed, along with ways to support, strengthen, and enhance them, as well as the latest regional developments, particularly the diplomatic efforts made and joint coordination to de-escalate tensions and enhance security and stability in the region.

The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar reaffirmed during the calls Qatar’s support for all diplomatic efforts and initiatives aimed at achieving a solution that guarantees freedom of maritime navigation and paves the way for a comprehensive agreement that ensures sustainable peace in the region.
