In the same context, Algerian Prime Minister Aymen Benabderrahmane met with Bolus to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and expand U.S. investments in Algeria. The Algerian Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement that both sides expressed their satisfaction with the positive momentum characterizing the bilateral partnership between Algeria and the United States across various fields, particularly economic ones.

The statement added that the two sides discussed measures to deepen and diversify bilateral cooperation to include new sectors, thereby strengthening the presence of U.S. companies and expanding their investments in Algeria, and contributing to increasing the volume of trade between the two countries.

At the end of his visit, Bolus expressed his sincere condolences to the Algerian government and people following recent fires that affected several wilayas (provinces) in the central and eastern parts of the country, conveying his solidarity with those affected by these difficult circumstances.
