Omani Foreign Minister: Postponement of the regional meeting scheduled for tomorrow in Salalah

Muscat, Sept 13 (KUNA) -- Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi announced on Sunday the postponement of a regional meeting scheduled to take place tomorrow in Salalah, citing the aim of “ensuring consensus.” In a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Al Busaidi said, “In order to ensure consensus, the regional meeting scheduled for tomorrow in Salalah has been postponed. We reaffirm our commitment to enhancing dialogue that supports stability and sustained cooperation in our region.” Meanwhile, the Oman News Agency reported that “the regional meeting, originally scheduled for tomorrow in the city of Salalah, Sultanate of Oman, has been postponed to a later date.” The agency added that this decision was taken “to create suitable conditions for constructive dialogue that contributes to achieving sustainable understandings supporting the security and stability of the region and meeting the aspirations of its peoples for cooperation and peace.” (End) M.J.B. / M.A.H.A.
