Minister of State for Development and Sustainability Sponsors the Fourth "Your School's Vision" Competition to Support Recycling and Environmental Sustainability

Kuwait City, 13 September (KUNA) -- State Minister for Development and Sustainability Dr. Reem Al-Faleh today received Sanaa Al-Ghamlas, Chief Executive Officer of the non-profit plastic collection company Amena, and Farah Shaaban, Chief Operating Officer. The meeting witnessed the announcement of the State Minister for Development and Sustainability’s sponsorship of the fourth edition of the “Amena School” competition, which targets students in government schools across all educational stages. The initiative aims to enhance the culture of source separation and recycling of plastic waste, and to instill concepts of environmental sustainability among students. The parties also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and support national initiatives that contribute to reducing waste, supporting the circular economy, and achieving the targets of “Kuwait 2035.” (End) Z.H.R. / T.A.B.
