Barcelona defeats Levante 4-2 and continues to lead the Spanish league

Madrid, Sept 13 (KUNA) -- Barcelona continued to lead the Spanish football league after defeating Levante 4-2 at the Ciudad de Valencia stadium on Sunday, in the fifth round of the competition. Chabi Aspart opened the scoring for Barcelona in the fifth minute, while Lamian Yamal added two more goals, the first in the 19th minute and the second from a successful penalty in the 48th minute. On the other side, Ivan Romero scored Levante’s first goal in the 79th minute, and his teammate Roger Brogie added the second in the 88th minute. In the third minute of stoppage time, Karim Ademi sealed the match by scoring Barcelona’s fourth goal, securing the three points. With this result, Barcelona moved to the top of the table with 15 points, three points clear of their closest rival, Real Madrid, while Levante remained on five points in 13th place.
