English League: Arsenal defeats Sunderland 2-0

London, Sept 12 (KUNA) -- Arsenal continued their strong start to the season with a fourth consecutive victory, this time defeating hosts Sunderland 2-0 in the match played on Saturday as part of the fourth round of the English Premier League. After a goalless first half, last season’s champions opened the scoring in the 58th minute through Brazilian Bruno Guimaraes. In the seventh minute of stoppage time, English striker Bukayo Saka doubled the visitors’ lead with a penalty goal. In other matches played on the same day, Nottingham Forest beat hosts Aston Villa 2-1, and Ipswich Town defeated Crystal Palace 3-2.
