Kuwait Airways takes delivery of its sixth Airbus A330-900neo aircraft

Kuwait City, September 12 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Airways announced on Saturday the receipt of its sixth Airbus A330-900neo aircraft, known as the “Coronado,” as part of a purchase deal with Airbus, with the plane arriving from the manufacturer’s facility in Toulouse, France. In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the airline said the aircraft’s arrival is part of its plan to modernize and strengthen its fleet and support its operational plans and expansion of its route network, in line with the needs of the air transport market and to enhance the travel experience and services offered to passengers. Kuwait Airways added that it is awaiting the arrival of the seventh aircraft of the same model as part of its fleet enhancement and modernization plan. The Airbus A330-900neo features modern technologies, higher fuel efficiency, and lower emissions compared to previous aircraft models, in addition to providing advanced levels of passenger comfort, which contributes to enhancing the operational efficiency of the national carrier and supporting its future plans.
