Saudi Civil Defense issues early warning in Abha and Khamis Mushait

Riyadh, 12 September (KUNA) – Saudi Civil Defense issued an early warning today, Saturday, in the city of Abha and Khamis Mushait province, urging adherence to safety guidelines and official instructions. In a statement, Civil Defense called for maintaining calm and immediately moving to the nearest safe location inside a building or an interior room away from windows, and remaining there until the danger has passed. It advised against leaving homes or buildings, avoiding open areas and glass, and refraining from standing on balconies or rooftops. The agency emphasized that if outdoors, individuals should enter the nearest building or take shelter behind a solid barrier, avoid gathering and filming altogether, and stay away from hazardous sites. While driving, it recommended pulling over to the side of the road, away from bridges and tall buildings.
