Iraqi President Condemns Attacks on Saudi Arabia

Baghdad, September 12 (KUNA) -- Iraqi President Nizar al-Amidi expressed his strong condemnation today on Saturday of the attacks that targeted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a fraternal country, affirming his country's rejection of the use of its territory or airspace as a launching pad for attacks on neighboring states. In a statement, the Iraqi president stressed that all legal measures would be taken against anyone proven to be involved or responsible, ensuring that such attacks do not recur. He noted that his country is keen on its relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and with all neighboring states, and on consolidating security and stability and protecting the interests of the peoples of the region, free from any practices that could jeopardize these relations or harm Iraq's security and stability.
