Saudi Pro League: Al Ahli defeat Al Hazem 3-1

Jeddah, Sept 11 (KUNA) -- Al Ahli defeated Al Hazem 3-1 on Friday in the seventh round of the Saudi Pro League, in a match played at the King Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah. Al Hazem opened the scoring early with a goal in the second minute by Ahmed Al-Nakhlai, while Al Ahli responded with a three-goal burst: Francisco Trincao scored in the 21st minute, and Ivan Toney netted two goals in the 32nd and 45th minutes. With this result, Al Ahli moved up to fifth place in the league standings with 12 points, while Al Hazem sat in 10th place with eight points. In the same round, Al Ittihad also defeated Al Faisaly by the same scoreline. (End)
