Interior Ministry: We carried out an extensive security campaign in Saad Al-Abdullah to apprehend violators and enhance security presence

Kuwait City, September 11 (KUNA) — The Ministry of Interior, through its Directorate of Security Affairs sector, announced the implementation of an extensive security campaign to apprehend violators and enhance security presence in the Saad Al-Abdullah area, as part of ongoing security efforts to enforce the law and maintain public order and safety.
In a press statement issued on Friday, the Ministry said the campaign resulted in issuing traffic violations, detaining individuals without valid identification, and arresting wanted persons under arrest warrants, as well as individuals whose residence permits had expired, in violation of the Residency Law. The operation also led to the seizure of several street vendors, their sales carts, and mobile grocery stalls.
The Ministry added that the campaign also resulted in the arrest of wanted individuals linked to two alcohol-related cases, the seizure of two vehicles subject to judicial impoundment, and the confiscation of narcotics from one person. Additionally, a debtor and another individual wanted in connection with a criminal case were apprehended.
The Ministry confirmed that all necessary legal and administrative measures were taken against those detained and those who committed violations, in accordance with each authority’s jurisdiction. (End) H.M. / M.K.
